Catalytic Thermal Oxidizer
SMDERI is constantly committed to research and develop the waste treatment including the organic tail gas & liquid for petrochemical industries, some solid wastes.
Over 200 projects have been completed in the past few years.
SMDERI provides project/equipment design, engineering, procurement and/or construction (EP or EPC).
Principle: Based on the catalytic action, the Catalytic Thermal Oxidizer lowers down the
required temperature to make the organic compound be oxidized and
decomposed without mass consumption of fuel, so as to meet the demand of
environmental protection. As a new technology to decontaminate the organic
waste gas, it is being widely used for more industries.
Comprises: Hot blast furnace / electrical heater, catalytic reactor, catalyst, pre-heater, etc.
Applications: Mainly suitable for decontamination of waste gas with low organic concentration
in range of 0.8-10g/m3.
